Top Tips For Potty Training Accidents

It is inevitable that your child will have accidents when he or she is being potty trained. Be supportive, even when your child has not successfully used the toilet. With time, the accidents should become fewer and fewer until your child is completely potty trained and accidents are few and far between.

Its been a long time since you were in diapers. Parents often do not realize that their children have accidents simply because they think differently. A child cannot plan ahead the way adults do every day how many times, for example, do you jump in the car for a long trip with an older child and he or she needs to stop for a restroom less then ten minutes into the trip? Toddlers have an even shorter planning ability. They may hold it, thinking they can wait to use the potty when their television program or game is finished. Often, this is not the case, and the result is an accident.

Your child may also simply not realize he or she needs to use the potty. Even if your child has previously voiced the need to go to the restroom, other activities, such as being engrossed in play, can take your childs mind off bodily needs. Ask you child often if he or she needs to use the potty, just as you would ask him or her to drink water on a hot day.

Be consistent with potty training rules as well to prevent these accidents. Your child may be doing this on purpose to gauge your reaction. Accidents should never result in punishment, but be firm as to what your child can and cannot do until he or she is potty trained. Regular accidents are not OK if your child knows better and had previously been able to control his or her bathroom actions.

However, if your child is having regular accidents and is upset at this, consult your doctor. There may be medical reason as to when potty training is becoming more difficult, and sometimes, simple dietary changes can help you fix these problems. Most children have accidents up to 6 months after successful toilet training. If accidents continue, speak with your child about the situation. If he or she is deliberately causing accidents, you may wish to postpone potty training until he or she is more mature. Punishment in these situations rarely works, but dont let your child use potty training as a way of getting attention.

Accidents are normal. Although undesirable, remember to be supportive of your child as he or she is trying to learn to use the potty, even when theyre unsuccessful. Join an online support group if you find this process especially stressful. This, along with the multiple articles and tools for parents, can help you learn more techniques for potty training more quickly and avoiding accidents. Use accidents as a learning tool. As your child progresses in the potty training process, he or she will have fewer accidents. Dont be surprised if your child regresses after having made significant progresspotty training takes time and support and is often a case of two steps forward and one step back.

I Love Italian Wine and Food - The Trentino-Alto Adige Region

If you are looking for fine Italian wine and food, consider the Trentino-Alto Adige region of northern Italy. You may find a bargain, and I hope that youll have fun on this fact-filled wine education tour.

Trentino-Alto Adige is located in the center of Italys northern border. It touches both Switzerland and Austria. Among its tourist attractions are the Dolomite mountains, called the most beautiful work of architecture even seen by the famous architect Le Corbusier, glacier lakes, and Alpine forests. In fact the region is composed of two parts, Trentino in the south and Alto Adige in the north. Alto Adige belonged to the Austro-Hungarian Empire for centuries, where it was known as Sdtirol. Like many other parts of Italy, Trentino-Alto Adige was often invaded. Unlike most other parts of Italy, this area is officially bilingual; a sizable portion of its population about 925 thousand is German speaking.

Trentino-Alto Adige has plentiful forests, and the hillsides are covered with fruit trees. This is Italys major apple-producing region. Only about 15% of the land can be cultivated. Agricultural products include corn, wheat, oats, barley, and rye. In addition to beef and dairy cattle, mining and manufacturing are prevalent.

Trento is the administrative center of Trentino and Bolzano is the administrative center of Alto Adige. Both are tourist towns. Trentino was the site of the Council of Trent lasting almost twenty years in the middle of the 16th Century with a major impact on the Catholic Church. Both these cities, and many others in the region, have numerous churches and secular sites of interest to tourists.

Trentino-Alto Adige devotes about thirty thousand acres to grapevines, it ranks 16th among the 20 Italian regions. Its total annual wine production is about 25 million gallons, giving it a 14th place. About 55% of the wine production is red or ros, leaving 45% for white. The region produces 8 DOC wines. DOC stands for Denominazione di Origine Controllata, which may be translated as Denomination of Controlled Origin, presumably a high-quality wine. A whopping 79.1% of Trentino-Alto Adige wine carries the DOC designation, by far the highest percentage in Italy. Trentino-Alto Adige is home to almost four dozen major and secondary grape varieties, about half white and half red.

Widely grown international white grape varieties include Gewrtztraminer, Pinot Bianco, often called Pinot Blanc outside of Italy, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, often called Pinot Gris outside of Italy, Sylvaner, and Mller-Thurgau. In fact, some say Gewrtztraminer originated in the Alto-Adige town of Termeno, known as Tramin in German. Italian white varieties include Nosiola, and Moscato Giallo, Trentino-Alto Adiges version of the international Moscato (Muscat) grape.

Widely grown international red grape varieties include Pinot Nero, called Pinot Noir outside of Italy, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The best known strictly Italian red varieties are Schiava, Lagrein, Teroldego, and Marzemino.

Before reviewing the Trentino-Alto Adige wine and cheese that we were lucky enough to purchase at a local wine store and a local Italian food store, here are a few suggestions of what to eat with indigenous wines when touring this beautiful region.

Start with Ravioli della Val Pusteria, Rye Pasta with Spinach and Caraway Seeds. Then try Gulasch de Manzo, Beef, Potato, Onion, and Paprika Stew.

For dessert indulge yourself with Krapfen Tirolesi, Fried Pastry with Marmalade and Powdered Sugar. Did you notice that these specialties seem as Austrian as Italian?

OUR WINE REVIEW POLICY While we have communicated with well over a thousand Italian wine producers and merchants to help prepare these articles, our policy is clear. All wines that we taste and review are purchased at the full retail price.

Wine Reviewed

Concilio Pinot Nero Reserva 2002 12.5% alcohol about $15

Ill start by quoting the marketing materials: Pretty aromas of strawberry, pepper and earth lead to flavors that are soft and velvety. Good varietal characteristics demonstrated here in ths light-to-medium bodied, long finishing wine. Match to a grilled salmon or tuna.

And now for my thoughts. This wine has a cherry and tobacco nose and is mildly acidic. It tastes of tobacco. The wine is round, mouth-filling and somewhat robust. It is a bit older than most of the wines in this series, and frankly, it shows. Like many Pinot Noirs, it tasted of earth.

Once in a while I follow the producers suggestions. I felt this Pinot Noir was an excellent accompaniment to a grilled Atlantic salmon with steamed asparagus. The fish brought out the wines fruit flavors, and the wine did a great job of cutting the fishs fattiness. I still remember the first time that I drank a Pinot Noir (Oregon, I believe) with salmon at the suggestion of a excellent fish restaurant. Its a great combination when both the fish and the wine are high quality. I ended this meal with almond milk chocolate, washed down with a bit of wine. This latter combination is not classical, but the result was more than satisfactory.

My next tasting included beef stew and potatoes, zucchini and onions in a tomato sauce, and a commercially prepared moderately spicy Turkish salad based on red pepper, tomato, and onion. The wine was round, mouth-filling, a bit complex. The dominant taste was tobacco. But I was disappointed, the wine was short.

Asiago is a cheese whose characteristics differ widely depending on where it is made, and its aging. I happen to love a local Asiago that my neighborhood supermarket carries once in a while. It is relatively sharp. I am told that Wisconsin Asiago cheese typically has butterscotch undertones. The imported Asiago tasted with this wine was nutty and pleasantly acidic, but frankly not as good as the local version. The cheese brought out the earthy characteristics of the Pinot Noir. Interestingly enough, the wine immediately changed its flavor and became more acidic in the presence of a commercially prepared roasted butternut squash dip.

In a close call, my initial reaction was not to purchase this wine again. Then I changed my mind, I would purchase it again, but be quite careful in pairing the wine. There is a simple solution, serve it with a grilled, preferably Atlantic, salmon.

Bad Credit Commercial Mortgages To Serve Your Commercial Needs

Commercial mortgages are a kind of loans that can be availed for commercial purposes. You can buy commercial property; say a new building for your office or a new establishment for your business, with the help of commercial mortgages.

Commercial properties come at high prices, much higher than that of personal property. You got to have a sound bank balance to buy a commercial estate. People often go for commercial mortgages to arrange funds for buying commercial property. But those who have bad credit scores often find it difficult to look for lenders.

Bad credit problems are increasing day by day. With more and more people falling into bad credit, lenders have come up with options especially for bad credit people. These days, a number of lenders offer to look after your commercial needs.

Bad credit commercial mortgages make you available funds for purchasing a commercial property. These mortgages are a kind of secured loans, that is, the property that you buy with a bad credit commercial mortgage is automatically pledged to the lender as a security. Thus, if you do not keep up the repayments, the lender may possess your commercial edifice to make up for his loss.

Bad credit commercial mortgages have, to some extent, higher interest rates. Since lenders give due consideration to your credit score, you might as well get shorter repayment duration. But if you survey the market well in advance, you can get bad credit commercial mortgages at reasonable interest rates, by comparing the different schemes on offer.

Credit Freeze: The Surefire Way To Stop Identity Thieves

Are you a victim of Credit card and Identity theft? Today, identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in the US. Often thieves will steal someone's identity and then go on to run up a host of bills in that person's name.

So the question is how can you fight back against these criminals and keep your good name intact as well as your credit and money?

The answer is to freeze credit reports and stop credit from being issued in your name. By freezing your credit, nobody can get your credit file or details to run up credit in your name leaving you to deal with the bill.

Who can put a freeze on their credit? Since 2003, almost everyone can put a credit freeze on his/her credit. Currently, most people simply put a fraud alert on their credit report and hope that solves their problems. The advantage of this is that the credit bureaus are supposed to alert you when a request for credit in your name is placed and verify with you that you indeed requested this new line of credit. The disadvantage with this method is that the creditors do not always call to request your permission or they ask very generic questions to verify the person they are speaking to is truly "you". Unfortunately, if they already have enough information to apply for credit in your name, they can usually answer these generic questions also. With a credit freeze nobody can open any type of credit line under your. Meaning, your credit details are off limits to everyone even credit lenders, insurance companies and potential employers.

How does a credit freeze work?

When your credit is requested, for example a credit card, the credit provider will call one of the three credit reporting companies to ask for access to your credit file. If you requested a freeze to your account, then the credit reporting company will tell the creditor that they don't have access to you file since it is frozen. You can just about guarantee that no creditor in their right mind will proceed with granting any credit on an account where the owners have placed a freeze, without asking the person to lift the freeze. Of course an identity thief wouldn't be able to do this without your pin and paying the fee to unfreeze the credit report.

What if I want credit? If you want credit or you need a background check for a potential employer, it is not a problem at all because the major credit reporting companies will give you an identification number or a PIN that allows you to freeze and unfreeze your credit report whenever you want. There is also a small fee that is charged to lock and unlock your credit.

If a criminal manages to get your credit file, with the protection of a credit freeze they don't stand a chance at getting credit, no matter how good they are.

How do I get a Credit Freeze on my files? In order to freeze your credit, you will need to contact each of the three credit reporting companies. There is a fee but it is absolutely low considering the benefits of having a credit freeze on your account, the few dollars that are spent are worth knowing that your credit, and good name are protected and secured at all times.

What do the credit reporting agencies need? Each of the three credit reporting companies requires a certain procedure to be followed in order to have your credit report frozen. Below are the requirements needed for each company:

Equifax: Send a letter via email that contains your name, address, including previous addresses, social security number and your date of birth.

Experian: Mail a letter with full name, middle and other identifying names like Jr. or Sr. Also include you previous and current addresses going back five years, social security number, date of birth and proof of address like driver's license, electric bills or bank statement.

TransUnion: Communication can be sent either by regular or certified mail, although certified mail is always a safer option. You will need to include your full name, including middle initials and any other parts to your name. You will need to provide your current mailing address and any other addresses dating back to the last five years, date of birth and social security numbers are also required.

Payment for the three credit reporting companies must be made by check, money order or by a credit card. If a credit card is the chosen option, then the name of the card, account number and expiration date must be included. ID theft victims should also put a valid copy of a police report, investigation report or a valid complaint that has been filed with a law enforcement agency.

Don't be caught by criminals who prey on honest citizens by stealing their identity and running up expensive credit debt. Fight back, use a credit freeze and rest assured that your credit is safe from theft.

Cocaine For President Bush OK

This post will review the case of Guiles v. Marineau, 461 F.3d 320 (2nd Cir 2006) cert denied June 29, 2007, another student freedom of speech case. The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit held that a school could not censor a student's t-shirt where the shirt, at the top, has large print that reads "George W. Bush," below it is the text, "Chicken-Hawk-In-Chief." Directly below these words is a large picture of the President's face, wearing a helmet, superimposed on the body of a chicken. Surrounding the President are images of oilrigs and dollar symbols. To one side of the President, three lines of cocaine and a razor blade appear. In the "chicken wing" of the President nearest the cocaine, there is a straw. In the other "wing" the President is holding a martini glass with an olive in it. Directly below all these depictions is printed, "1st Chicken Hawk Wing," and below that is text reading "World Domination Tour."

The back of the T-shirt has similar pictures and language, including the lines of cocaine and the martini glass. The representations on the back of the shirt are surrounded by smaller print accusing the President of being a "Crook," "Cocaine Addict," "AWOL, Draft Dodger," and "Lying[**] Drunk Driver." The sleeves of the shirt each depict a military patch, one with a man drinking from a bottle, and the other with a chicken flanked by a bottle and three lines of cocaine with a razor. Without question Guiles's T-shirt uses harsh rhetoric and imagery to express disagreement with the President's policies and to impugn his character.

On June 29, 2007, The United States Supreme Court refused to review this case, although Justice Samuel Alito cautioned that schools could not censor political speech. This is significant in and of itself because it means that the Supreme Court does not want to shape the current status of the law in this area at the moment or they believe that it is significantly and sufficiently developed and this case offers no new opportunity to clarify the law. It could also mean that they just don't feel like dealing with this issue at the moment because others are more deserving of their attention.

Why can a student where a t-shirt of this nature at school, but a student cannot hold up a banner that read "Bong Hits 4 Jesus?" See, Morse, et al. v. Frederick, or my last post "No Bong Hits 4 Jesus." The difference between the two is simple and it all comes down to content; what was being said. When we look at the content "Bong Hits 4 Jesus" it appears to be empty of any political speech. Political Speech is among the most highly protected types of speech. The t-shirt in question is a profound statement of political speech. Where the "Bong Hits 4 Jesus" banner could have been construed as promoting drug use, the t-shirt in question is designed to highlight some of the Presidents alleged dabbling in drugs and alcohol and highlights the student's disgust with the current President and his character. This is a political statement and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit overturned the lower court in line with centuries old case precedent protecting political speech.

The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit denied the Defendant's argument that all illustrations of drugs promote drug use and are disruptive. The court reasoned that the Defendant could not overcome the argument that anti drug campaigns containing such images promote the use of drugs or were otherwise disruptive. The court ultimately directed the lower court to issue an injunction prohibiting the school from censoring the t-shirt or not allowing the student to where it. The court also held that the student's suspension should remain removed from the student's record. The disparity in the two cases comes down to the content of what was being said. It is further evidence that political speech in school will remain intact, while otherwise senseless and random images or promotion of illegal drug use will remained banned from the schoolhouse.

Getting A Credit Card In An Instant

Getting a credit card used to be a time-consuming business. You'd have to ring or go into your bank, fill out a lengthy form and wait for quite a while before you got a reply. Although many people are still using that method, there's now a quicker way, thanks to the Internet.

How Do I Find An Online Credit Card Application?

Most card issuers now offer online application for their credit cards. Finding one is as simple as doing an Internet search or visiting that company's website. In addition, there are several credit card comparison sites that allow users to select cards that match a range of features and then apply. Credit card applicants are required to be UK residents and over 18.

Most online credit card applications now have a summary box which gives details of the rates that apply to purchases, balance transfers and cash advances, the interest free period, fees and charges, how interest is charged and how payments are allocated. There is also a link to the detailed terms and conditions. Once you've read these, it's time to fill in the application form. Here is the information that most credit card applications ask for.

Cardholder's Name And Address

To start with, you will need to give your name. This is usually your full name no hiding that unwanted moniker from the credit card companies. They will also ask about marital status and your date of birth. Credit card companies also ask for your mother's maiden name for security purposes. Applications are only taken from the principal cardholder. This means you can't apply for a credit card on someone else's behalf. However, you can add an additional cardholder at the time of application or later.

You will also need details of your address and postcode. If you have lived at this address less than three years, you will also need to give your previous address and postcode. In essence, you need to show a three year history of where you have lived. Other contact details required include a phone number and an email address.

Home Ownership And Employment

Most companies want to know whether you own or rent your home and some may ask about the size of your mortgage payment. They will also want to know your occupation and employment status. Ideally credit card applicants should be working more than 16 hours a week.

They will also require annual income and bank details, including how long you've been with the bank. Finally, you'll have to list the types of credit cards you already have (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, store cards and so on).

All of these help credit card companies establish what level of credit risk you are and what credit rating you have.

Other Credit Card Services

Many online applications forms offer you the chance to take up additional services such as payment protection insurance, travel insurance, household insurance and much more.

You will also need to have details of any cards that need to be transferred to your new credit card.

Once you've completed all these details, you simply need to wait a short while for a response. Some card issuers respond within a minute. It's worth knowing that there will be some cases where they will ask for additional information before issuing a credit card.

Change in Lifestyle and Environment- The Secret to a Happy Retired Life.

Change is inevitable. That is the law of nature. The natural process of aging is gradual and those who are near and dear to you seldom notice the changes.

The fact remains that you are growing old. With advancing years your lifestyle too should be re-oriented in such a manner that you do not put unnecessary strain on the diminishing reserves of your body.

Moderation in everything that you do is the key-word. You may continue with your activities but do it in moderation. Health plays a major part in the lives of the elderly but unfortunately another aspect that is often overlooked is the "Environment". If due importance is given to this aspect then, many other problems such as Accidents, Loneliness, Health etc. could be easily managed.

Some major environmental problems that should be high priority when you retire are:

1. Finding a suitable place to live after retirement should be priority No.1 Larger cities are good for the younger people but the Retirees should consider moving out to a pollution free town or village in the outskirts of the city.

2. Choose a place not too far from your friends and relatives so that they could be of assistance whenever needed.

3. Ground floor is the best for the elderly. Split level houses should be avoided. If there are steps, good hand rails should be provided.

4. The house should be well ventilated and provide plenty of sunlight.

5. The floors should be well carpeted. Worn out carpets are dangerous since you could trip and fall.

6. Electric wiring should be permanent and all electrical gadgets should be in good working order.

7. Avoid loose and long clothing. Many accidents are caused by tripping and falling. Fractures and injuries during old age could take a longer time to heal and be a source of worry and agony.

8. Clothing should always be appropriate to the season. Inappropriate clothing can lead to health conditions such as, body pain, arthritis, chest cold etc.

9. Entertaining of guests and socializing should also be done in moderation. The consequences of exertion and heavy drinking can be detrimental to your health.

10. Keep your mental faculties active.

One of the best ways to keep yourself well informed, mentally active and to have fun is to spend time on the Internet. The whole wide world is at your finger tips if you can operate the computer. If you are unable to use a computer, it is advisable to take a few lessons that will make you quite proficient in using the computer and the Internet. Sending e-mails to friends, reading the latest international news and visiting interesting websites can be fun. In fact you can even earn an Additional Income. Full details are given in the article, Practical Internet Home Based Business Ideas, for the Young and 50 Plus Entrepreneurs : http://www.business-fromhome.com/article671.html

Old age should not in any way mean that you must give up participating in community activities. It has to be in moderation, that is all. Your lifestyle might have changed but your experience, knowledge and expertise will be needed and much appreciated by your community. Share it with them, enjoy yourself and make life happy and pleasant for the others too.

Change in lifestyle and environment during retirement does have certain emotional under currents such as missing your long time neighbors, some of your old friends and of course some of your favorite haunts. Unfortunately certain changes have to be made in a changing world and changing circumstances.

Make these changes in the right spirit and enjoy your retired life.

Organizing Your Schedule for Learning How to Accomplish 20 Times as Much

Many people feel a little lost when they first think about learning how to accomplish 20 times as much with the same time, effort, and resources. Some assume it will take years to master this new discipline. That's not the case: Most people will be able to create their first 2,000 percent solution (accomplishing 20 times as much) with less than 80 hours of individual effort.

In this article, I outline how to focus your attention to accomplish the most as you learn to be more effective.

You will gain the most if you write essays that summarize your learning about accomplishing 20 times as much. The following is an outline of what most people have found to be helpful to them. The suggested schedule assumes that you can devote at least 30 hours a month to this learning. That's an hour a day for most months. If you cannot spend that much time, stretch out this schedule accordingly.

Month 1: Take notes on your personal and organizational stalls (bad habits that delay your progress), potential stallbusters (ways to eliminate bad habits) and possible areas for accomplishing 20 times as much. This reading and thinking will help you begin to eliminate bad habits that are holding you back from accomplishing more. with those bad habits starting to dissolve, it will be easier for you to develop new and more effective habits.

Month 2: Consider in detail how to go through the 8 steps required to make 20 times improvements. These steps are:

1. Understand the importance of measuring performance.

2. Decide what to measure.

3. Identify the future best practice and measure it.

4. Implement beyond the future best practice.

5. Identify the ideal best practice.

6. Pursue the ideal best practice.

7. Select the right people and provide the right motivation.

8. Repeat the first seven steps.

This process will help you pick the right focus for your first 2,000 percent solution and speed your progress in developing that solution and putting it into place.

Month 3: Write four essays.

a. Describe your personal and organizational stalls (1,000-2,000 words)

b. Propose two or more stallbusters for each stall (2,000-3,000 words)

c. Describe a 2,000 percent solution you want to create (1,000 words)

d. Apply the 8-step process to create that solution (3,000-6,000 words)

Month 4: Share your essays with others to obtain comments.

Month 5: Rewrite your essays based on the comments.

Month 6: Begin implementing your solution. Find people who want to learn how to create 2,000 percent solutions.

Months 7-11: Mentor those people who want to learn how to create 2,000 percent solutions through the process you used.

Month 12: Begin repeating the activities of Months 1-5. This is important because you'll create vastly greater effectiveness by repeating the learning process you used for your first 2,000 percent solution.

Month 18: Begin applying your revised 2,000 percent solution.

Month 19: Begin developing a 2,000 percent solution in a second area.

Month 24: Begin implementing your 2,000 percent solution in a second area.

Month 25: Start developing a 2,000 percent solution in a third area.

Set your own schedule from there to keep working on new 2,000 percent solutions while also repeating your investigation of areas where you already created 2,000 percent solutions.

If you find that you enjoy mentoring others and would like to do more of it, add one new student a month for 24 months. Ask those students to do the same for other students.

If everyone taught 24 people on this schedule, almost everyone would learn how to use this process within three years.

Have fun!

Unforgettable Movie Sports Cars

Actors get their names in movie credits, but very rarely do cars.Nevertheless, there are films that have featured a sports car that stole the scene and merited having its make and model mentioned in the credits. There are a number of cars that have been in great movies, but at least 5 really standout.

The Graduate: The Alfa Romeo

Dustin Hoffman was told that the future was in plastics, but he depended on the metal of his graduation gift, the cherry red Alfa Romeo, to get him to the church on time. The car was featured in numerous scenes and used in the some of the most critical moment of the movie.

Mad Max: XB Falcon

The post apocalyptic Australian desert was patrolled in style by Mel Gibson, who was Mad Max. He zipped across what was left of civilizationb in a 1974 XB Falcon V8 interceptor. Mad Max may have been a formable foe and beat up the villains, but although road weary, the XB Falcon cut a dramatic silhouette as it crossed the Australian wasteland.

Goldfinger and Thunderball: Astin Martin

If Americans were asked to name a British sports producer, they would probably name Astin Martin who is the maker of the Astin Martin DB5.The popularity of this sports car is directly attributable to James Bond, played by Sean Connery. Having James Bond behind the wheel would make any sports car look cool. But the Astin Martin would have looked cool anyway. The popularity of the Astin Martin was so high that the original sports car was stolen in 1979 from a Boca Raton, Florida airport.

Back to the Future: Delorean DMC-12

Even without its time travel abilities, the DMC-12 was very hard to forget. The DMC-12 did not sell as well as its creator, John Delorean, had hoped, but it became one of Americas icons after it appeared in Back to the Future films. The movie franchise and the stainless steel DMC-12 are inseparable in the minds of the public. One cant talk about the Back to Future movies without mentioning the car.

Bullitt: Mustang

Regarded by some as the king of cool, Steve McQueen, who acted in the movie Bullitt, will always be remembered for the chase scenes through the hilly roads of San Francisco. Steve McQueen took this famous ride in the 1968 Mustang GT390. Today this particular Mustang is still looked upon as being one of the best built in the franchises history. It is not unusual for movies to feature cars. The chase scene is an ever-present feature of modern films today. When cars have a key role in a movie, and the movie is a hit, the sports car can become unforgettable. Whether giving chase in some large city in the hills,or rescuing a woman, there are some sports cars with roles that are Oscar worthy*.*

Dont Let Your Credit Card Debts Cross The Line

Its been said that an average American has about 9 to 10 credit cards. Having that much credit cards simply means that you have high purchasing powers. You can actually just splurge on anything that catches your fancy; you dont actually give out cash at that instant.

Credit cards are so popular these days. Everyone seems to be using one everyday. Its also very easy to apply for a credit card. In fact, credit card companies are aggressively advertising their services so they could attract more people to sign up. Online and offline stores even encourage the use of credit cards by giving cardholders special discounts and promotions.

Its really very easy to get caught up in a huge credit card debt nowadays. In fact, a lot of people are already suffering from great financial losses just because of some credit card debts they were unable to pay. Most people forget that when they use their cards to purchase, they would eventually have to shell out cash to pay for that.

Paying for credit card purchases are usually even more expensive. Thats because you would have to pay for the interests. And credit card interest rates do not come cheap. In fact, theyre high enough that you might feel youre paying more on interest than the actual amount you borrowed.

Using your credit cards can really be addictive, but before you swipe your card, you would have to ensure that you would have enough funds to pay for your purchase. If not, you will soon find yourself caught in a huge debt cycle. Credit card debts are the most difficult to get out of, probably because of the high interest rates and the surcharges.

Just imagine the effect of a huge credit card debt on your finances. What if youll need money for emergency situations? If you have high credit card debts, chances are you wont be able to use your credit cards anymore. That also means that it wont be easy for you to apply for a loan since these kinds of debts reflect on your credit reports.

Irresponsible use of credit cards is usually to blame for your financial problems. So before you get another credit card, make sure that youre responsible enough to handle it. Also check that the credit card company offers competitive interest rates. If they have low rates, you might consider consolidating your credit card debts and opt for a balance transfer.

Though it will really be very difficult to lower down a credit card debt, there are still ways which can help you, like debt consolidation. Also, you might want to minimize the use of your credit cards until you could pay off a large portion of the debt. Limit your credit card purchases to important ones.

If somehow you feel that you credit card debt has increased without you knowing it, you could give your credit card company a call so they can check for any fraudulent activities. Credit card companies will be happy to help you with any fraudulent charges so you can lower your credit card debt.

Experts sat that the wisest way to use your credit card is that your credit card debt should not exceed half of your credit limit. In this way, when emergency situations happen, you have some option to turn to. Low credit card debts also translate to better credit score, which means that you can avail of better loan and financing schemes.

Mario Churchill offers low interest credit cards for business, students, or personal use while consolidating and eliminating bad credit debt. Apply today! Visit http://www.firstglobalcreditcard.comJacques Blog78752

Hell or Heaven: Firsthand Authors Describe Your Fate

Our earthly existence demands that we plan for our future in the best way that we can. We must conduct our affairs in this life in a prudent manner regarding investments, education, insurance and such to guide us towards the goal of safety and contentment. But what about a strategy regarding the afterlife when our brief stay on this planet is over?

Bill Wiese and Don Piper are two authors who describe in vivid detail the ultimate outcomes of our worldly lives in books respectively entitled "23 Minutes in Hell: One Man's Story About What He Saw, Heard, and Felt in that Place of Torment" and "90 Minutes in Heaven: A True Story of Death and Life". The aptly named books describe firsthand the reality of two extreme destinations one of which lies ahead of each of us according to our own freewill choices.

Wiese's "23 Minutes in Hell" began at 3:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 1998 when he found himself being hurled through the air completely out of control before landing in what appeared to be a prison cell. He was "fully awake and cognizant" throughout the entire event during which he was led to experience a peril well beyond what can be imagined in this life.

"There is never any peace of mind. No rest from the torments, the screams, the fear, the thirst, the lack of breath, no sleep, the stench, the heat, the hopelessness, and the isolation from people." Bill adds that "this place was so terrifying, so intense, and so hostile that it would be impossible for me to exaggerate the horror." The hideous, seething creatures together with an overwhelming sense of hopelessness made one trapped in a "sea of tormented souls".

The other end of the spectrum is explained by Don Piper's "90 Minutes in Heaven" which describes his experience while declared dead after his car was struck by an eighteen-wheeler at about 11:45 a.m. on January 18, 1989. He was greeted in the heavenly realm by what he called a "celestial welcoming committee" of incredibly joyous people whom he had known previously that had passed on from earthly life.

Piper described the sensational level of bliss by stating that "everything I experienced was like a first-class buffet for the senses. I had never felt such powerful embraces or feasted my eyes on such beauty. Heaven's light and texture defy earthly eyes or explanation. Warm, radiant light engulfed me. As I looked around, I could hardly grasp the vivid, dazzling colors. Every hue and tone surpassed anything I had ever seen." Don was in another dimension and felt "fully alive" in a state of awe that human words are not capable of expressing.

The hell and heaven experiences of both authors are precisely in line with another source that has displayed irrefutable accuracy over time. This book is a compilation of 66 works written by about 40 authors over the course of approximately 1,500 years in three different languages on three different continents. The book that calls one's attention to what awaits all in the afterlife is called the Bible.

The evidence is clear that the Bible gives harsh descriptions in regards to the reality of the "damnation of hell" ( Matthew 23:33 ). It warns of "everlasting destruction" ( II Thessalonians 1:9 ), "place of torment" ( Luke 16:28 ), "fire that never shall be quenched" ( Mark 9:43 ), ), "weeping and gnashing of teeth" ( Luke 13:28 ), "where their worm dieth not" ( Mark 9:44 ), "everlasting fire" ( Matthew 18:8 ), "outer darkness" ( Matthew 8:12 }, and "lake of fire burning with brimstone" ( Revelation 19:20 ) to name but a few of the wake-up calls regarding the "danger of hell fire" ( Matthew 5:22 ).

Heaven, on the other hand, is a place where "they shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more" ( Revelation 7:16 ) and "there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." ( Revelation 21: 4 ). It will be an indescribable "eternal weight of glory" ( 2 Corinthians 4:17 ) for those who cherish and abide by the Bible's teachings. It will be a place of pure love beyond our finite comprehension.

Bill Wiese gives his support and states that "the Bible is far more unique than any other book written. It has been scrutinized by an endless array of scholars, historians, archeologists, scientists, mathematicians, and the like for thousands of years. There have not been any discrepancies or errors that could not be cleared up with good scholarship."

Bill supports this claim by listing quotes from both acclaimed scholars and respected historical figures who support the absolute reliability of the Bible. Don Piper is also one who conveys his full conviction with respect to the truth of the Scriptures without question.

So what guidelines are to be followed to enter the gates of heaven and avoid the described torments of hell after reading "23 Minutes in Hell" and "90 Minutes in Heaven" and the most popular book in the history of the world? The answer is clearly to pay close attention to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ as the only "mediator between God and men" ( 1 Timothy 2:5 ) to gain our heavenly triumph.

Both Bill Wiese who suffered the anguish of hell and Don Piper who had to leave the indescribable bliss of heaven to an agonizing recovery believe that their lives are meant to tell the world of the consequences that await us all. They are using their experiences to warn anyone and everyone about the realities of what they lived through. They also wish to share the truth that the only way to escape the eternal and hopeless trappings of hell is a commitment to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

My own unfortunate life events are what led me to find this truth. I have suffered the effects of having been comatose for 11 days, walked away from a burning car wreck, been struck by a Mack truck and have escaped a handful of other potentially deadly or crippling circumstances. Failure has certainly not been a stranger in my life in other ways as well. I share a belief with the authors that my experiences in this life are meant for salvation on both a personal level as well as for readers who simply need to get right with God through Jesus Christ.

My advice? Find and join, if you haven't already, a true Christian church that bases its teachings strictly on the verses contained in the Bible. Avoid at all costs any "feel good" or watered down alternatives that compromise the truth for the sake of profit or political correctness. Finally, believe the words of Jesus in John 14: 6 of "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Your eternity depends on it.

A Guide to Buying a Property in Portugal

Overview

The Portuguese Property Market

In recent years, there has been a true construction and real estate boom in some parts of Portugal. Along the coastal regions of Portugal, a great deal of real estate development has taken place. This development has included everything from luxurious housing developments to vacation communities that have attracted visitors and investors from across Europe and indeed much of the world.

Beyond the very fast paced development that has taken place along the coastal regions of Portugal, there has also been a great deal of new construction in some of the more rural areas of the country. Rural Portugal has proven to be a fertile area in which many people from other European nations (and from a good share of other nations from around the world) are taking to constructing second homes, lovely and relaxing retreats tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Investment Property in Portugal

When it comes to investment real estate in Portugal, many foreign nationals have focused their attention on real estate opportunities along the coastal regions in Portugal. By way of example, these foreign nationals are involving themselves in some of the massive residential developments that have been initiated in these coastal regions over the course of the past ten years.

In addition to investing in the residential developments themselves, some of these foreign nationals are also putting their money into those commercial real estate ventures that accompany a burgeoning residential market. For example, these foreign nationals are investing in shopping centers or districts as well as other types of necessary commercial properties.

Residential Real Estate in Portugal - Single Family Properties

As has been referenced, there has been a great deal of activity in the residential real estate market in the coastal regions of Portugal. The trend towards buying homes along the coastal regions of the country has been fast paced for nearly a decade. Most real estate analysts in Portugal believe that this high rate of activity in the coastal Portugal residential real estate market will continue unabated well into the next decade.

In addition to a fast paced market along the coast, residential real estate has also been selling briskly in some of the rural areas in the Portuguese interior.

While high end housing has been the most rapidly selling area of the residential real estate market, in Portugal, when it comes to residential real estate, there really is something for every budget. This is particularly the case in the more major cities in the country. For example, the real estate market in Lisbon is very active and varied -- the old adage that there is something for everyone really holds true.

Residential Real Estate in Portugal - Apartments

As is the case through much of the European Union, the demand for residential apartments is strong in Portugal. Apartment living provides a more carefree and, oftentimes, a less expensive way of living.

Apartments in Lisbon have been selling at a particularly brisk rate. Many foreign nationals have taken to purchasing apartments in Lisbon and in a few of the more major cities in the country. There are three primary reasons who apartments have been selling so briskly in Lisbon and in a few of the other more urban centers in Portugal.

First, with the advent and creation of the European Union, and with the trans-European economic culture that was created by the EU, and ever growing number of foreign nationals have taken to spending at least part of the year in Portugal on business. Apartments provide a practical and affordable housing solution for these business men and women in the 21st century.

Second, many people have taken to purchasing apartments in the urban centers of Portugal for vacation or holiday purposes. As with the business owner of an apartment in an urban center in Portugal, these holiday visitors find apartments an economical and practical means of vacationing in the country. This has proven particularly to be the case with families.

Finally, some foreign nationals have taken to purchasing apartments which they then turn around and rent or lease to other people. Many of these foreign investors have found buying and then leasing apartments in Portugal to be a very solid method of generating a reliable source of income.

Holiday Property in Portugal

The coastal areas of Portugal have become the locations of some of the most sought after real estate in all of Europe. The demand for vacation properties in these areas rivals even the demand for real estate in such prime European travel areas such as the French Riviera.

Many foreign nationals have taken to buying real estate along the coastal regions for vacation or holiday purposes. As mentioned previously, oftentimes these investors are buying vacation properties in Portugal for dual purposes. Of course, they are buying these properties to provide a vacation destination for themselves and their families. In addition, they are making these purchases to allow them an investment income which they obtain by leasing or renting these properties to other holiday travelers.

In addition to the coastal regions of Portugal, many foreign nationals have taken to buying residences in rural communities. Finally, in large, urban areas such as Lisbon, foreign nationals regularly are purchasing apartments which they are utilizing for vacation or holiday purposes.

Mortgage Options

When considering the options for a mortgage on your overseas property there are a couple of choices to consider;

Do you consider raising finance on your existing property in the UK to cover the whole cost of your purchase abroad? A good idea if the interest rate in the country in question is a lot higher than it is here in the UK as you will pay a lot less in monthly repayments.

Do you secure a mortgage against the property from a local bank in the country of purchase? This can be a wise option especially if the interest rate is lower than our current UK interest rate. Most overseas mortgage / bank lenders will require upto 30% deposit on mortgages. However, you will need to give some thought to how you will service your mortgage payments each month especially if you are not living or earning in that country as you may well lose out on exchanging money each time to cover monthly expenses. Check out our Foreign Currency page to see how you can save money in this example

Some Builders and developers may well offer their own mortgage facilities on their properties for sale. This can be beneficial to both parties depending on the logistics of the mortgage or loan facility. Always check and compare with the two options above before making your final descision.

Specific steps to buying real estate property in Portugal

As in many countries the world over, the first step in the real estate purchase process is the execution of a preliminary contract for sale. In Portugal, this initial contract is called the contrato de promessa de compra e venda. This particular agreement is a legally binding contract that sets forth the conditions of the sale.

The contrato de promessa de compra e venda is drawn up by a notary. At the time that this contract is executed and signed, the purchaser of the real estate is called upon to place a deposit for the real property that is subject to the transaction. In Portugal, the deposit that normally is paid by a buyer of real estate is between ten and twelve percent. If a seller elects not to follow through with the sale, he or she will forfeit the deposit that has been paid. Of course, there are instances when a buyer is justified in not closing on a contract for the sale of real estate. For example, if a seller cannot provide to the buyer a title free and clear, the buyer then does have the right to walk away from the contract and will not forfeit his or her deposit.

An interesting feature of the preliminary contract in Portugal is the fact that if the buyer decides to walk away from the contract, the buyer is obliged to pay to the seller a penalty in the amount of twice the deposit placed by the buyer in the first instance. Thus, in Portugal, the purchaser of real estate is provided with a level of protection that is found in very few other countries around the world. Indeed, this level of protection really is almost unheard of anywhere else in the world.

Another requirement that is unique to Portugal when it comes to the purchase of real estate is one in which the buyer of real estate is obliged to obtain a "Fiscal Number" from the local Tax Office. This requirement applies to foreign nationals who are interested in buying real estate in Portugal as well as to citizens of that country. The process of applying for and obtaining a Fiscal Number is very simple and does not require a great deal of time. Indeed, the process really involves completing what is in reality a very simple form and submitting it to the local Tax Office where it can be processed in no time whatsoever.

The real estate sales process in Portugal moves at a pretty fast clip. Generally speaking, the signing of the final contract and deed -- which is known as the escitura de compra e venda -- will occur within three to four weeks of the execution of the initial contract for sale. Once this agreement and related documentation is executed, the ownership of the real estate will transfer by operation of the law from the seller to the buyer. Although the buyer will become the legal owner of the real estate at that juncture, there still is a bit more work to do to completely conclude the real estate purchase process.

The final step that a person needs to take when purchasing real estate in Portugal is the payment of the Imposto Municipal Sobre, a tax imposed on real estate transactions in that country. In addition, the buyer will be obliged to register -- either personally or through a lawyer -- the deed with the Land Registry Office.

Overall, there are no added obligations on a foreign national who purchases real estate in Portugal. The rules, regulations and legal schemes that apply to citizens of Portugal apply similarly to foreign nationals who are interested in buying real estate in that country.

Property Abroad always recommends using a Solicitor or Lawyer.

Little Girl's Perfect Gift: Photo Bag

Every year you make it a point to celebrate your little girl's birthday. You probably have given her a lot of gifts that by now, you don't have any idea what to give her next. Dolls, toys, and other playthings are not much of an interest to your kid anymore, and then why not give her a photo bag?

It is not surprising if your see your daughter playing with your stuff. Girls at this certain stage want to grow up sooner, and so they tend to act as if they are all-grown up. Giving her a photo bag is one way of showing that you take notice of the things that she likes best.

A personalized photo bag is more treasured than ordinary bags that you most likely buy in department stores. And besides, children like a unique bag all to themselves; they don't like it much if one of their playmates has the same bag as theirs. It gives then some kind of satisfaction, and they will feel more loved by you.

All you need is a digital camera, or if you don't have one, look at old photos that both you and your little girl love. After choosing a special photo, have it scanned. Uploading photos is not much of a problem nowadays because of the new technology that we now enjoy.

If you want the latest picture of your girl taken with digital camera, just be sure that it can take mega pixel images or even larger. Set the digital camera on the highest possible setting prior to taking the shot. Use the JPG format to save the images. If you're not very familiar with these things, you can read the camera's manual.

If you are planning to have an old photo scanned, make sure that the scanner is set at 200 dpi and higher. Again, you must save the image in JPG format. And in case you need more details, refer to the scanner's manual.

If there are local stores near you who offer personalized photo bags, then you can go straight to their store. If in case, you can't find any available store, you can always check for a store online that specializes in making personalized photo bags. Upon sending your photo, you're going to get the bag after two or three weeks.

So if you plan to give it on your child's birthday, you must do all these things ahead of time. You need to exert a little effort to make your child's birthday a special one. Besides, it will not take too long to have photos scanned or take pictures. As long as it is for your daughter's happiness, a little preparation wouldn't hurt.

These types of bags are not hard to maintain. All you have to do is to apply a product which repels moisture/water after receiving the bag. And you need to clean it occasionally. To remove any dirt from your photo bag, prepare soapy warm water and dampen a soft towel in it.

Your little girl's photo bag will last for a long time if you always keep it clean, and the photo won't peel or crack because it is embedded in the bag's fabric.

A photo bag doesn't cost much; it is available at a reasonable price. Why wait for another birthday to come; surprise your loved one now with a very pretty photo bag.

Sam Walton's Success Story

"There is only one boss - the customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else."

Growing Up

Sam Walton's career in retail began in 1940 when he become a sales trainee in Des Moines, Iowa at a J.C. Penney store. Despite his enthusiasm to serve the customers, Walton was not a model employee. His desire to make his customers happy was so great that he often let other responsibilities like paperwork and keeping the books fall by the wayside. He was almost fired by his boss who told him that he was not cut out for a career in retail. Walton kept his job, however, because of his ability as a great salesman.

In 1942, Walton was drafted into the United States army. He worked in the communications division of the Army Intelligence Corps and remained on home soil throughout the Second World War. When he left the army three years later, Walton was married, had a child, and decided to start his own business to support his new family. With the $5,000 that he had saved along with a $20,000 loan from his wife's father, he purchased a Ben Franklin variety store in Newport, Arkansas. Walton was 27 years old.

Starting The Business

By putting in many hours at the store and implementing a pricing strategy far below what his competitors were charging, Walton's new business took off. By 1950 he had the top performing Ben Franklin store in the area. Walton's landlord, seeing his success, decided that he wanted Walton to sell the store to his son. When Walton refused, the landlord decided not to renew Walton's lease and he was forced to shut down.

Walton's 10 commandments for business success were: 1) Commit to your business. 2) Share your profits with your associates and treat them like your partners. 3) Energize your colleagues. 4) Communicate everything you possibly can to your partners. 5) Appreciate everything your associates do for the business. 6) Celebrate your success. 7) Listen to everyone in your company. 8) Exceed your customers' expectations. 9) Control your expenses better than your competition. 10) Blaze your own path.

Determined as ever to succeed in his venture, Walton looked for other rural Arkansas towns for a new place to set up shop. He came across a small village called Bentonville and opened the Walton's Five and Dime in 1950. He made sure to get a 99-year lease this time on the property. The two local competitors in Bentonville did not want to discount their prices and Walton's business began to flourish.

Realizing he had a recipe for success, Walton began looking for other areas of expansion. He borrowed money and used the profits from his first stores to acquire more. By 1960, he owned 15 stores but he was not getting the kind of return on investment that he thought he would be making. He then made the decision to follow a heavy price cutting strategy and hope to get much higher volume to turn a larger profit. This was not a new idea. The problem at the time was that most discount stores were small, located in urban areas, and focused on specialty items. Walton's plan was to change the way retailing was done across the country.

Building An Empire

Walton's revolutionary plan was to have large superstores in rural towns that discounted a wide variety of products. His initial approach was to Ben Franklin. They turned him down as they did not like the idea of operating with lower margins. Without a large company behind him, Walton opted to go it alone. In 1962, he mortgaged his home and borrowed against everything he owned to open his first Wal-Mart in Rogers, Arkansas, a neighboring town of Bentonville.

Excited about the prospects of getting discounts and selection that were previously only obtainable in the cities, rural customers came out in droves to his store. The success of his first store allowed him to expand and by 1969 he had 18 Wal-Marts in Arkansas and Missouri.

Funded solely through debt and reinvested profits, Walton decided that in 1970 he would take the company public. The IPO raised $5 million and Walton retained 61 percent of the company. The money was used to settle the company's debts and fuel further expansion. By 1980, 276 Wal-Marts were operating.

An integral component of Wal-Mart's success was its leveraging of new technologies to improve efficiencies and save costs. Walton knew that the key to success in a low margin business was to rigidly control his costs. Wal-Mart was, for example, one of the first major retailers to use electronic scanners at the registers which tied to an inventory control system so they could know immediately which items were selling well and needed to be re-ordered.

The success of his Wal-Mart stores led Sam to another idea - Sam's Wholesale Clubs. These would be discount stores that sold to small business owners in bulk. The idea was another big hit for Walton and by 1985 he was considered by Forbes magazine to be the richest man in America with an estimated net worth of $2.8 billion.

Similar to Ray Kroc, Sam Walton did not invent retailing, he simply changed the business model and way of doing business to make it a much more profitable venture.

Are You Ready To Start Your Own Business?

It seems that most people are starting or at least thinking about starting their own business. While the history of entrepreneurship is as old as humanity, today's economic climate and booming Internet marketplace have brought even more people interested in venturing out on their own.

Sadly, while many people dream of starting their own business, all too often those dreams fail miserably causing professional and financial devastation for those involved. How do you know if you have what it takes to start your own enterprise and make it a success? While some people like to point to the market idea, economic climate and other outside factors, I believe success and failure are determined by one essential factor -- the entrepreneur involved. Successful new business owners bring three essential qualities to their dream. I call these the MAT factor which simply stands for Money, Attitude, and Time.

Money is an important factor when you start a new business for three reasons. The first consideration is of course the old adage that it takes money to make money. While it is possible to start an Internet enterprise with nothing, it is easier to have at least a little start-up capital. Another important financial factor is your personal financial standing. If you need to hold down a full-time or part-time job while also trying to start a business it could be too much to handle especially if you have other personal obligations. Finally, your attitude toward money is a big factor. If you are a wise personal financial manager then you will likely be able to apply those same skills and knowledge to your business finances, but if you can't manage your personal finances then likely you won't be able to manage your business finances. Businesses with a good cash flow can sometimes forgive a little financial mismanagement but new businesses struggling to get off the ground often demand very wise financial management to survive.

Time is also an important element in new business success or failure. Many new entrepreneurs far underestimate the time they will need to spend on developing, growing, and maintaining their business. Many entrepreneurs who fail are not good managers of their time. It is important for you to know that you can dedicate a certain number of hours each day or week to your new venture -- and that time can be spent on all areas important to the future success of your business such as planning, ongoing work, and promotion and marketing. Sometimes it is easy to get caught up in the actual servicing of existing customers that you forget to cultivate new customers. Sometimes it is easy to become overwhelmed by the day-to-day work and overlook planning for the future. Both these mistakes are time management problems that can lead to business failure.

Finally, the most important quality involved in the success of new ventures can be summed up in one word -- attitude. Do you possess the right attitude to become a successful entrepreneur? One of the most important qualities that determine a successful attitude is self-direction. Can you work effectively without supervision? Are you goal-oriented and self-sufficient? Can you make effective decisions on your own? Self-direction is not enough though. You must also be flexible and open-minded to recognize opportunity when it knocks. Some entrepreneurs have worked their new businesses right into the ground because they were not willing to modify or change their business plan. The right attitude also encompasses the ability and willingness to learn. Successful entrepreneurs are constantly learning and evolving. They learn more about their market niche, they learn more about marketing, they learn more about general business skills, and they learn more about themselves.

And so, if you are considering whether or not you have the right stuff to start your own business then you should consider the MAT factor. Where do you stand when it comes to Money, Attitude, and Time? Really consider all the angles before venturing out on your own. You can be a successful entrepreneur and make all your dreams come true, but you need to start with the right ingredients.

How To Find Hot Niche Markets

Working out what your niche market will be to start your home business is something that can elicit much excitement. This is when you can put all those great ideas you have had for your business into a plan of action. Give yourself a number of options to work over. Some will be great and some won't fit. Get more than one so you always have a back up when you start a home business.

Look to 3 sources for ideas:

* A hobby you love: You won't find many hobbies from which you can't build a business. And since you enjoy doing it, it won't be tedious to "go to work" every day. When you pick something for your business that you sincerely like, you will have fun at doing it.

* Your experiences: In life we go though many experiences and you can use these to build a business. For example if you have raised children you can then put all your parenting experience together and start a business related to parenting.

* Your talents: Everyone has one or more talents within them. Dig down and see what yours are. You can start a freelance business using your talents.

Defining your niche market:

1. List out some ideas then put them in the order of what you like the best.

2. Go to the site listed here and put a key word into the overture suggestion tool box: This will bring up the amount of searches that have been done for your keyword and will represent demand.

3. If you search out that same key word on Google search engine http://google.com then you will see websites supplying that item and you will know how many competitors are out there that will be competing with you when you start a home business.

4. If you find a topic that is demanded in quantity but low in the suppliers, you will then make money. This should be your special market for which you do your niche marketing. You will make more money with a niche market as you will reduce and sometimes even eliminate competition. Go through your list of ideas until you narrow it down to about

5. Then go through them again and see which one will fit into a niche market.

Establishing your USP:

Once you have found the concept that fits into a specialized or niche market it is time to establish your USP, Unique, Selling, Point. This is when you will take your idea, and see how you will make your business uniquely different from your competitors. Often neglected, finding the USP is something that new business owners need to do to set their item above the competition. Online businesses are very competitive and you have to stay ahead of the game.

There are two reasons you need to set yourself up as different from others:

1. Get ahead of your competitors

2. To clearly define to your potential customers why your product and service is better than your competitors.

Deciding on your business model:

Part of your business concept will not only be consolidating your ideas but also choosing your business model. There are a few that you can choose from:

* Affiliate marketing-Getting involved with affiliate programs will target your efforts

* Network marketing (MLM)- again this will target your market and idea.

* Marketing-taking the product and selling it

* Service- you should use your talents, which includes freelancing.

You can see there are a number of things you will have to do to get your business concept into operation. But it's worth it to plan and take care in developing it. It will be your foundation, after all.

Test driving- There are many different types of bikes so always test drive them and get the feel of the bike before you buy.

Dont get stuck with a dud. Try to find a more experienced friend to help you check out your purchase. Educate yourself on the bikes you like before going to the dealer or buying from a private party.

Try to get a good used bike at first-cheaper and good for practice.

Safety: There are more accidents on the road involving bikes than ever before. To save you from a gnarly accident here are a few tips:

Places to be careful of-intersections

Consider taking a course, this will teach you a lot of safety tips and how to control your bike to avoid accidents. Wear proper eye protection to ensure maximum vision.

Maintaining your wheels and looking after your bike is very important. Always keep your bike in good condition. Learn all that you can about looking after your wheels yourself and also take your bike to the shop for regular check ups and oil changes.

Choosing the right insurance: biking has its own dangers its part of the territory, so you will need to get some good coverage for you and your bike. Remember to shop around to find the best prices and value for money. You can check online and in your yellow pages for insurance companies.

MySpace: A Viable Marketing Tool?

MySpace is not only for teenagers and musicians. MySpace is also making a buzz among Internet marketers. At the invitation of Internet marketing guru Marlon Sanders, I set up a profile to see what the buzz is all about.

Marlon calls it "...a 'secret' networking method the people on the inside are using."

Being the active experimenter that I am, once I got started, I couldn't stay away from MySpace, setting up my profile, posting on my blog, adding events to the public calendar. As I poked around, I thought about how this networking space could work for professionals as a business tool.

It's pretty easy to set up a profile and it's free. If you're using it as a business tool, be professional about the information you reveal. Remember MySpace is ultimately a SOCIAL tool and many people use it to hook up for dates and relationships. If that's not your intent, keep your content business-oriented.

What I noticed in looking at random profiles is that most are sloppy and incomplete. A lot have no information about the person and no photo. What's the point? My sense is that a lot of profiles get set up and then abandoned, much like blogs.

So can you use it as a marketing tool for your business?

My guess is yes, if you're very strategic about how you go about it.

Use your "About Me" section to talk about your business, products and services. Make sure you have active hyperlinks that lead to your primary website, blog and products. It's a good idea to have a basic knowledge of HTML so you can add images and clickable links.

Use the blog module to write about your business and events.

Send "bulletins" through the MySpace system to all your "friends" about your product launches, press releases, events, etc.

Join MySpace groups that represent your target audience. Participate in discussions and send bulletins to everyone in the group. No spamming!

Post your events on the public calendar

As you add new friends, welcome them and you'll be on your way to building a community.

A way to approach this from a business angle is to think of your "friends" as possible joint venture partners and potential business opportunities. And, as we like to say, it's another line in the fishing pond for attracting prospects, building your list and your network.

So, is it worth trying out? That's only for you to know. If you like trying new things, if you like testing new systems, then give it try.

How To Breast Feed Your Baby And The Benefits

For many years, scientists have been playing out the ingredients that make breast milk the perfect food for babies. They've discovered to day over 200 close compounds to fight infection, help the immune system mature, aid in digestion, and support brain growth - nature made properties that science simply cannot copy.

The important long term benefits of breast feeding include reduced risk of asthma, allergies, obesity, and some forms of childhood cancer. The more that scientists continue to learn, the better breast milk looks.

In addition to making your baby healthier, breast feeding may also make him smarter. Many studies have proved that breast fed babies tend to be more smarter than babies who were fed with formula or other methods. Breast feeding does help with nutrients and the support of brain growth, which is something every mother should think about.

The benefits for the nursing mom are just as good as they are for the baby. The hormones that are released during breast feeding will curb blood loss post delivery and help to shrink the uterus back to it's normal size.

Long term, the breast feeding mom will have a lower risk for pre-menopausal breast cancer, which is the kind that strikes before the age of 50. The benefits will begin to show with three to six months of breast feeding and increase the longer that breast feeding continues.

By now, you should realize that breast milk is one power packed liquid. It offers more for your baby than formula, or any other scientific creation for that matter. As you begin to plan for the future of your baby, make a commitment to breast feeding him for as long as you possibly can - as it will do both your bodies good.

Benefits Of Breast Feeding

Once you've given birth, breast feeding is the single most important thing you can do to protect your baby and help to promote good health. Best of all, breast feeding is free.

Along with saving you money on HMR (Human Milk Replacement), breastfeeding can also help you to keep your medical bills down. Babies that are fed with formula get sicker more often and more seriously than babies that are breast fed They also have more ear infections, respiratory infections, and other problems.

This can be even more true if your family has had a history of allergies. When a baby is breast fed, the antibodies pass on from the mother to the baby, helping to protect against illness and allergies. As the baby's system matures, his body will begin to make it's own antibodies, and he'll be more equipped to handle sensitivities of food.

Sucking on the breast will also help with the development or jaw alignment and the development of the cheekbone. For this very reason, there is less of the need for costly orthodontic work when the child gets older.

Unlike formula, breast milk is always ready, always available, convenient, and always the right temperature for feeding. Plus, it contains all of the vitamins and minerals your growing baby needs, saving you a lot of money.

Breast feeding also offers many benefits for the mom as well. The baby sucking at the breast will cause contractions right after birth, leading to less bleeding for the mom, and helping her uterus to it's shape before pregnancy much faster.

Breast feeding will also burn calories, so a mom can lose weight much faster than if she fed her baby with a bottle. Breast feeding will also create a special bond with the mother and the baby - which is one thing formula simply cannot do.

Reviewing The Benefits Of Gas Credit Card

Most people who own a car have similar problems. The cost of fuels never ceases to increase and it is a definite financial burden to all car owners. A gas credit card is very handy. It allows convenience for car owners when purchasing gas. Great rebates and promos are constantly being offered. To find the best deals, all you need to do is browse the internet for more information. There are various internet sites that will provide you links to different gas companies including Hess, Citgo, Conoco, Phillips 66, and Marathon. It is also possible that you could obtain a gas credit card that is allowed to be used in purchasing gas at several gasoline stations.

Most of the gas companies are doing their best to attract car owners to purchase their gas credit card from them. They are offering even up to 10% rebates upon 60 days of acquisition then will continue at a 5% rebate. Some gas credit cards will not be charging annual fees to their clients for a one year period. The clients are also entitled to make 9 purchases within that year without paying the required annual fee of ninety dollars on the next year. It is also a great benefit for you to have a 0% APR on balance transfers.

Other companies have online sites to make the application for gas credit cards easier and to satisfy the consumer's needs for an immediate and a quality service. Besides this advantage, they also offer a 6% rebate within a ninety days period which is very good to use for any gas purchases. If ever the period expires, you would still enjoy a 1% rebate upon any purchase at grocery stores, clothing retailers, and restaurants. A 0% APR is also constant over a period of nine months. It is much better if you can obtain a gas credit card which is below 14% rates and will not charge you annual fees. The company is also giving a waiving option to their clients. The annual fees can be waived into a minimum of 9 purchases within a period of one year.

Always take into consideration every credit habits and needs when looking for the right gas credit card. Ask yourself if the card that you are looking for is exclusively used on purchasing gas, or the card that has other features to offer, such as low APR, option to pay balances each month, option to use the card on several gas stations, and others.

Choose the features which are important to you the most. It was mentioned earlier that rebates have different percentage offers depending on the gas companies you are applying for. Make sure that you understand the terms and conditions to avoid regrets in the end. Read fine prints carefully by focusing more on APR, annual fees, rates for various credit card transactions, and other fees involve.
